In the summer of 2019, the first release of the design approval platform, also known as Design Workflow 2020, came to life. For the first time, designers could visualize and configure their creations in full 3D, seamlessly integrated within their familiar Adobe Illustrator environment.
With the push of a button, a fully automated process was set into motion. The system handled rendering, processing, and distribution, ultimately delivering a personalized email to the client’s inbox. This email contained a direct link to a dedicated platform, where all designed articles were visualized in high quality, ready for client feedback or approval.
This milestone revolutionized the custom sportswear design process, bringing efficiency, precision, and a streamlined approval experience for both designers and clients.

Assos
Six months after release, the workflow 2020 was successfully adapted for Assos. They were provided with their own dedicated cloud environment, tailored to their specific design rules. The Adobe Illustrator 3D plugin seamlessly adjusts to Assos’ branding, automatically adapting when their design templates are selected, ensuring a consistent and fully integrated experience.
Workflow 2022 - never happened (yet)
This intruduction film was presented @ BISM 2021, highlighting our ambition for the next iteration of the Workflow for a projected 2022 release.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances, development of workflow-2022 was halted in favour of Bioracer Design Your Own. But many features that were introduced here are now on the feature list of this Bioracer Design Workflow 2026 proposal.
