Approval Markers: Ensuring Accuracy and Reducing Risks
In Bioracer Workflow 2026, approvals are handled more precisely and transparently than ever. In addition to approving individual articles, we’re introducing a new system called Approval Markers, designed specifically to address and highlight critical design details that require extra attention or explicit client sign-off.
Why Additional Approval Markers?
Sometimes, clients have special requests that carry certain production risks or require careful consideration—for instance:
- Insisting on very small fonts that may become unreadable when printed.
- Requesting unusual colour combinations that deviate from standard guidelines.
- Design choices that go against recommended practices or branding guidelines.
In these scenarios, a designer can create an additional Approval Marker to clearly flag the area of concern and ensure the client explicitly approves or acknowledges the risk involved.
How Approval Markers Work
Designers can easily create these markers through the enhanced Annotations 2.0 system by:
- Capturing a screenshot from any angle or using existing 2D images.
- Highlighting the area of concern by annotating the image directly.
- Adding explanatory text to clarify why additional approval is required.
These markers then appear clearly within the design review interface, requiring the client’s explicit approval before the article is cleared for production.
