Approve Only: A Positive, Engaging Communication Approach
In the current Workflow 2020, projects are either entirely approved or disapproved by the client. Disapprovals lead to unnecessary delays, creating negative interactions, additional revisions, and inefficient cycles of back-and-forth communication.
A Shift Towards Constructive Feedback
Workflow 2026 introduces a fundamental shift: Approve Only. In this model, clients no longer “disapprove” designs. Instead, every design proposal is reviewed and approved individually, article-by-article.
If a client isn’t satisfied with a specific aspect, they engage directly in a centralized, structured dialogue via the Project Chat, clearly communicating their revision requests. The conversation continues positively and proactively until each article reaches full approval.
Why “Approve Only”?
-
More Constructive Communication:
Replaces negative feedback with proactive dialogue, improving client-designer relationships. -
Faster Approvals:
Clear, focused conversations reduce misunderstandings and enable quicker turnaround times. -
Improved Collaboration:
Positive interaction encourages productive cooperation, making the design process smoother and more effective. -
Increased Efficiency:
Eliminating the concept of disapproval prevents unnecessary delays, as individual issues can be resolved quickly without impacting the entire project.
The Process in Action:
- Each article is reviewed individually.
- Clients communicate specific adjustments clearly via annotations or chat.
- Dialogue continues interactively until full client satisfaction is reached.
- Articles are approved individually, ensuring precise and effective design outcomes.

In the 2020 workflow, projects can be disapproved. This means a full disapproval on the full project, even if the client requests a little change on one individual article. It has proven not te be the most efficient wat to handle the design process.
In the 2025 workflow design proposals can only be approved, and also individually article by article.
So no more disapprovals from clients but an engaging communication until all is approved
Approval
- Approval goes by a double workflow
- First a limited set of articles | Design Proposal - stage 1
- Then the remaining articles | Design Proposal - stage 2
Approval - stage 1
- When Design Proposal - stage 1 approved
Approval - stage 2
- When Design Proposal - stage 2 is approved
- this will result in full Project Approval
